Deal Breakers

What’s your deal breaker?

When buying a home, you should make a very concise list of your absolute DEAL-BREAKERS. I give this homework assignment to all my new buyer clients. The shorter the list, the better. Home buyers, especially couples, need to be on the same page about what they are willing to sacrifice and what they absolutely can’t do without. Unless you have an unlimited budget, (and if you do-please give me a call right away!) there are going to be items on your ‘want’ list that may have to be sacrificed. You will save a lot of time if you can really pin-point your Deal Breakers.

Items to consider:

  • Urban, suburban, or rural
  • Schools
  • Nearby amenities such as airports, public transportation, shopping, places of worship, parks, water access and green space
  • Number of bedrooms
  • Yard or no yard
  • Garage
  • Storage needs
  • Walkability
  • Square footage

It’s my job as your Buyer’s Agent to find the perfect match for you and your family. I want to streamline the buying process for you and get you into the home of your dreams where you can be yourself and most importantly – live your life!
