Matthew Kirkpatrick’s Commitment to Building a Better RPS

“I am happy to announce that I am partnering with Scott Garnett and Building a Better RPS. I have partnered with Scott through Liberty Mutual Insurance to provide insurance to his clients, and am excited to expand our partnership to serve our community. Each quarter, a portion of my commission will be donated to the cause. As a parent of children in the Richmond public School system and a resident of the Fan, the quality of Richmond City schools is important to me. Scott and the Building a Better RPS team have taken it upon themselves to improve the learning environment of city students, and I am thrilled to support their work.”

Matthew Kirkpatrick, Liberty Mutual Insurance

We are excited to have Matt’s involvement in Building a Better RPS. Matt is a good friend, a great resource for myself and my clients, and a proud parent of multiple RPS students. Matt understands the importance of community and business engagement with RPS and he is further committing himself by making this very generous quarterly donation to Building a Better RPS. As more community and business groups get involved in the effort to fix up the schools, we are able to leverage their resources to further our efforts. To date, Building a Better RPS has done approximately $250,000.00 worth of light renovation, through donations and events with our community, neighborhood, and business partners. Thanks again to Matt for his continued support and we look forward to working with him and Liberty Mutual in the future.

And, in case you missed it, we interviewed Matt on our “Coffee Talk” program not too long ago. Check it out here!
