Prior to embracing the sales side of real estate, I worked as an interior designer and project manager for both residential and commercial renovation and building projects. I have solid general knowledge of construction, historic renovation, and design practices. I often work with families relocating to the inner city as well investors looking for single family and small to mid-sized multi-family properties. I specialize in Richmond City and Henrico neighborhoods, as well as equine and small farm properties in Hanover County and Eastern Henrico. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Public Administration from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I also did Graduate work in Public Administration at the University of Arkansas and Virginia Tech.
I am an avid supporter of public education. I am a co-founder and current board director for Building a Better RPS, a non-profit focused on grass roots fundraising and volunteering to to benefit Richmond Public Schools. I am a long time supporter of the Richmond SPCA and Humane Society of the US. I am a native New Mexican and member of the Muscogee Creek Nation. I have been married to my wonderful husband since 1984 and we have three children. We love SEC sports and cheering for our Alma Mater the Arkansas Razorbacks.
